Tate was excited about the full moon
(January 24).
Sherry Varnum lost her sweet Mama last week. Heather, Khaysy and I rode together to the funeral in Dover. All five of Sherry's kids sang during the service, and it was absolutely beautiful. What a talented family! Sherry also sang along with Emmylou & Char.
Sherry did an amazing job honoring her mama. The burial immediately followed in the cemetery behind the church
(First Baptist of Dover).
Meanwhile, Michael and Tate were at a scouts campout at Camp Brorein in Odessa. Tate was the first out the window to repel down the wall. He was super scared at first, but then he wanted to do it again!
He did it several times.
Feeling brave!
Gopher tortoise sighting!
The kids celebrated by 45th with homemade cards & voluntary hugs.
Mrs. McCoy texted me this picture on my birthday... Tate has asked me what time I was born, and I said around 7:00 a.m. Colorado time, which is around 9:00 a.m. Florida time. He was counting down until 9:00 in her class this morning.
Birthday lunch at The Terrace with my friends! Char was in town for the funeral, so she joined us.

Skyler celebrated her 18th birthday with her crew at her house over the weekend. They painted a Last Dinner, with Grace Rodda using her skills to depict everyone present. Wes had to be depicted in his ubiquitous long sleeve Harding Bison shirt.
